20. Lounging on couches stuffed to breaking point, sipping on chocolate milk and freezing our teeth with stone cold ice cream.


19. Throwing our heads back and laughing, joy brightest against black backdrops, accidentally slapping our siblings' leg in our merriment.


18. TV glows and changes colors, a thousand scenes whipping by, each narrated by the crowd of 5 kids.


17. Movies change, hearts rearrange, the day plays to a different script, but the spirit flows the same.


16. To end each day with family side-by-side... it begins to heal wounds and heartbreaks.


15. They say the world's gone crazy, too far, but believe me, my family's gone farther.


14. If one is missing, the room feels empty. A heart and spirit has gone.

13. This routine we'll keep forever. No bond we feel stronger than family, friend.

The first line of this poem starts with 20 words, with each line getting smaller until there's only one word left. I started this during a camp my friends hosted and just finished it!
