Beagle Brown is the color of my dog, Charles Spurgeon, or Charlie for short. Charlie, the dog who limped up to us after we got some ice cream, but who never barked or growled. Charlie, the dog who had been limping around for 2-3 weeks with bullet fragments in his leg, where he had been shot. Charlie, the dog who had to have his front right leg amputated. Charlie, the dog who could finally run and walk with his damaged limb gone. Charlie, the dog who makes friends with cats. Charlie, the dog who almost never barks or growls. Charlie, the dog who eats people food instead of dog food. Charlie, the dog who sleeps on my bed every night. Charlie, the dog who gets his white hair all over my mom's brown couch. Charlie, the dog who sometimes forgets his leg is gone and flops off the couch. Charlie, the dog who sits with us every time we watch a movie. Charlie, the dog who runs around in the tall grass like a deer. Charlie, the dog who might roll around in dog poop.
