Orange Zest

Orange Zest is the color of my family. My weird, amazing, beautiful family. This family that homeschools... or rather, off-schools. This family that owns a three legged, shy, PTSD, adorable beagle mix. This family that spends hours listening to our mom read Harry Potter out loud. This family that plays babies and barbies and ponies, and enjoys it. This family that has so many LEGO that they seem to walk around the house. This family that plays football and soccer and baseball. This family that spends hours at our church, making it ready for service. This family that brings the water hose on the trampoline until the springs break. This family that wears flip-flops and skirts and dresses. This family who eats candy and junk food and have spur of the moment movie nights. This family that sits at the table at almost every meal and eat together. This family that, compared to everyone else, is very, very weird. This family with 5 kids. This family that reads the Bible every night together. This family that’s Reformed. This family that loves everyone. This family that drives people around and delivers food and gives people and organizations money and visits them in the hospital. This family that loves each other so much, we feel sad if we’re without each other for a few hours. Orange Zest is the color of Love.
